The successful development of a hydropower scheme is based on a finely balance combination of many disciplines, working seamlessly together. Through our multi-disciplinary in-house competences, we have strong references in the development of optimized hydropower schemes and can carry out all necessary studies and engineering services to ensure the most economical project.
In addition to technical planning and design, the development of hydropower projects is dependent on energy market studies, tariff models, environmental considerations, climate protection and climate change studies, as well as macroeconomic considerations and financing models.
· Master plans
· Market studies
· Hydropower potential analysis
· Feasibility studies
· Financial models for projects
· Technical and financial services for lenders
· Technical and financial due diligence
· Risk assessments
· Tender and contract management
· Site supervision and quality management
· Consultancy for operation and maintenance
"The objective of the project is to supply potable water for Gaziantep city (2.7 million population) Project components are: • Düzbag dam (concrete faced rock-fill dam thalweg elevation of 169 m, total storage capacity 182.52 hm3, dam body volume 21.33 hm3) • Düzbağ Dam – Gaziantep transmission line (capacity: 7.50 m3/s, Diameter: Ø2.60 & Ø1.80 m, Length: 109.76 km, Material: Steel) • Tunnel in transmission line: Length: 3.18 km, Diameter: 3.50 m) • Water Treatment Plant (300 000 m3/day capacity) • Hydroelectrical Power Plant (HEPP): Installed Power: 6 MW, Annual Energy Generation: 34.24 GWh"
The project consists of many irrigation, flood control, dam and hydroelectric power plant units. Among all possible alternatives, the best alternatives have been chosen and proposed with the dynamic programming technique.
Altinkaya Dam is located on Kizilirmak River. The dam is 195 m high, rockfill type. Total fill volume of dam body is 15.3 million m³. Installed capacity of the power plant is 700 MW.
The Project consists engineering services consist of revision of feasibility, final design and preparation of tender documents of the dams to be built on Coruh River.Services were performed in association with EPDC, Japan. Some characteristics of the dams are: Yusufeli Dam (rockfill, 270 m high, 540 MW installed capacity),
It includes the planning and final design of Alpaslan II Dam and HPP, located on Murat River - an important branch of Euphrates River - and irrigation of Muş Plain by means of water regulated by the dam.
The project is a part of Southeastern Anatolian Project (GAP) and covers the planning studies in order to determine the hydropower potential of Kulp, Zori and Sason creeks of Batman River –which is an important branch of Tigris River-, possible dam and HPP sites and the irrigation of 257000 ha of land. Silvan, Sason and Kayser Dams (earthfill type) and 7 smaller dams (RCC type) are investigated during planning stage.
Altıparmak Dam and Hydropower Plant is located in Çoruh River Basin, on Barhal creek, which is an important branch of Çoruh River. The dam is double-curvature thin arch type and 150 m high from foundation. Installed capacity of power plant is 50 MW.
The project covers detailed design and feasibility studies of: - 106 m high concrete faced rockfill dam, - Irrigation of 5241 ha (gross area) and - 3 HPP having a total installed capacity of 11.9 MW
The Project covers preparation of feasibility revision, detailed design and construction drawings for Bulut and Yağmur Dams and HPP’s located on Murat branch of Euphrates River in Eastern Anatolia of Turkey.
Soğucak Dam Height : 60.70 m (from thalweg), Type : Clay Core Rockfill Dam Reservoir Volume : 6.01 hm3 Purpose : Potable water supply (14 Villages + Vezirköprü District) + Irrigation Amount of Water Supplied: 1.82 hm3/year Irrigation Area : 1509 ha (gross
The objective of the project is to supply potable water for Gaziantep city (2.7 million population)
The project covers the following studies: Identification and evaluation of surface and ground water potential of Susurluk Basin.
The project’s objective is to assess EE improvement in selected EÜAŞ (Government’s Energy Production Company) Hydro Power Plants (HPP) via measuring and evaluation time-dependent performance deteriorations of turbines and HPP’s primary/auxiliary equipment and to define the scope of necessary rehabilitation works within a feasibility study including cost estimates.
Alara Dam & HPP: Dam body is designed as rockfill embankment with concrete lined upstream face. Height of dam from thalweg is 215 m. Length of energy tunnel is 779 m. Installed capacity of the HPP is 154,50 MW and annual estimated production is 454 GWh.
Dam body is designed as rockfill embankment with clay core. Height of dam from thalweg is 150 m. Length of energy tunnel is 6000 m with 8 m diameter. Installed capacity of the HPP is 350 MW (3 units) and annual estimated production is 1230 GWh.
Dam body is designed as rockfill embankment with clay core. Height of dam from thalweg is 100 m, whereas height from foundation is 130 m. Length of energy tunnel is 500 m.
Kayraktepe Dam & HPP: Dam body is designed as rockfill embankment with clay core. Height of dam from thalweg is 99.5 m, whereas height from foundation is 160 m. Length of energy tunnels (2) are 250 m. Installed capacity of the HPP is 290 MW (2 units) and annual estimated production is 644 GWh.
Ivme HPP project is located on Southeastern Anatolia of Turkey, Batman province, on Tigris River.
Hydropower project is located in Ardahan, Eastern Anatolia of Turkey. Project is composed of 2 power plants:
The assignment covers detailed and construction designs of 3 HEPPs: - Gevne-Karapınar HEPP: 5.25 MW (Francis) - Eskiköy HEPP: 2.80 MW (Kaplan) - Duraliler HEPP: 7.06 MW (Francis)
The scope of services cover review of definitions and analysis of unit prices used by State Hydraulic Works (DSI) in their tenders for constructions of dams, power plants, irrigation schemes and water supply systems. The new study will develop the guidelines for determination of cost estimations for future investments of DSI.
